CHRISTMAS & NEW YEAR SCHEDULE
 

  • Greening of the Church: Monday, December 18, 7:00 p.m. A holiday tradition at St. John's; help decorate the Church & environs for the Christmas Season.
  • 4th Sunday of Advent, December 24 Masses: Saturday, December 23, 4:30 p.m.; and Sunday, December 24, 7:30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. No 11:15 a.m. Mass!
  • Christmas Eve Festival Masses: Sunday, December 24, 6:00 p.m. (incense free); 8:00 p.m. and 12:00 Midnight (solemn). No 6:15 p.m. Mass!
  • Christmas Day Festival Masses: Monday, December 25, 8:00 a.m. (incense free) and 10:00 a.m.
  • Music:The Classic Brass will perform at all  the Christmas Masses with prelude music 30 minutes before each liturgy. Music for the Midnight Mass, however, will begin at 11:15 p.m., and includes the Schola  and Adult Choir.
  • Feast of the Holy Family, December 31 Masses: Saturday, December 30, 4:30 p.m.; and Sunday, December 31, 7:30 a.m., 9:30 a.m., 11:15 a.m., and 6:15 p.m.
  • Feast of Mary, Mother of God: New Year's Eve, Sunday, 31 December 2006, Festival Candlelight Mass at 11:00 p.m. only. New Year's Day, Monday, 1 January 2007, 10:00 a.m. Festival Mass, but no 8:00 a.m. Mass!  A holy day, but not one of obligation this year.
