WE WILL ANOINT all Catholics at our nursing homes this month and keep the records in our church book.

NEW BEFRIENDER training: Tues., Dec. 5, at 6:00 p.m.

BEFRIENDER MEETING on Wednesday, December 6, at 7:00 p.m. in Room 208.

IF YOU HAVE a loved one who would enjoy the comfort of one of our Healing Quilts, please call Anne Marie, (651) 633-8333, ext. 1237. This ministry has been well received.  Thank you to our quilters and all who took the time to stop and tie a knot in the quilts and offer a prayer.

Social Mission News

FAIR TRADE Peace Coffee, Equal Exchange Tea, and CRS's Divine Chocolate are available this weekend and next. These products ensure that farmers receive a fair price for their top-quality products. This allows millions of people around the world to stay on their land, put food on the table, and keep kids in school. Fair Trade empowers farming families to take care of themselves. Plan to stop by our PEACE COFFEE table in St. Paul Plaza --your taste buds and the farmers will thank you!

SUNDAY, DECEMBER 10, at the 11:15 a.m. Mass, we will share our 2nd Annual Celebration of Our Lady of Guadalupe with our friends from San Miguel Middle School. They will share the story of Our Lady of Guadalupe & Juan Diego, and we will have hospitality after Mass together. Please welcome these young people...

IF YOU ARE INTERESTED in becoming involved in affecting change and working for more just systems in our community and state, consider our health care action team, immigration action team, or global warming action team. Call Anne Marie, (651) 633-8333, ext. 1237. These action teams have members from many parishes in the Archdiocese, and the Office for Social Justice is the contact for this work. It is a wonderful way to be involved in the policies and decisions that our legislature will be making in this next session, and you can really impact the work of the common good. It is a good feeling to be involved in this way, and you will learn so much. Pray on it... and then please call me, (651) 633-8333, ext. 1237. Change only happens when we each do our part.

ON TUESDAY, December 5 & Wednesday, December 6, Santa's Secret Shop will be open in the Seniors' Lounge - a good place for children to buy their Christmas gifts.  Thank you to all who are helping with this event.

WINES TO WISHES: "Around the World!" is on Saturday, 3 February 2007, 7:00 p.m. - 11:30 p.m., in St. Paul Plaza & St. Joseph Hall. Save the date for this Annual Fundraiser. There will be: fabulous wines to taste; international beers to sample; free wine and beer with every donation; other   refreshments; delicious food; better live & silent auctions; and relaxing music by a live band. Have fun and raise funds for a new playground and restroom renovations.
