ON THE WEEKEND OF OCTOBER 13/14, Fr. Skluzacek will speak at all Masses about the many benefits of Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration and invite you to try it.

Why should I Adore?

The hour that you spend with Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament may be spent in any way you want. You may bring prayer books; read the Bible; pray the Rosary; or just sit, relax, and enjoy the peace that comes from being in His Presence. You may feel that you can't pray well. Don't let this discourage you. The fact that you came to spend time with Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament pleases Him very much, and is, in itself, a prayer of faith.

ADORERS ARE URGENTLY NEEDED FOR THESE HOURS:

Tuesday, 2 PM - 3 PM
Friday, 2 AM - 3 AM
Friday, 5 AM - 6 AM
Friday, 4 PM - 5 PM
Saturday, 12 noon - 1 PM

MARK YOUR CALENDAR: The Annual Potluck for Adorers will be Friday, October 26, following a special 6:00 p.m. Mass. Please call Dorothy at (651) 636-1660 or Jerry at (651) 636-2054 for details, or to sign up for a weekly hour of Adoration. God bless you.

ST. JOHN'S COUNCIL OF CATHOLIC WOMEN will host the Living Rosary in Church on Monday, October 15, at 7:00 p.m. A special blessing will be given to all expectant mothers since October is both Rosary and Respect Life Month. If you or your children would like to participate as a "living bead," please call Lois at (651) 633-6086 and meet in St. Paul Plaza at 6:40 p.m. Hospitality will follow, and baskets will be at the baptismal font for donations to Our Lady of Good Counsel Cancer Home. All welcome.

PLEASE JOIN US every Thursday in October (11, 18, and 25) to pray the Rosary of Our Blessed Mother at 6:30 p.m. in St. John's Chapel of Angels. October is the Month of the Most Holy Rosary. If you desire, please bring a rose with you to put in the vase at the foot of the statue of the Immaculate Heart of Mary in the Chapel. Mary is the perfect means to the perfect end, Jesus Christ.

CONSECRATION TO THE HOLY FAMILY is a special family event at the Cathedral of St. Paul today(!), Sunday, October 7, at 7:00 p.m., which is the Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary. For more information, call the Cathedral of St. Paul at (651) 228-1766 or visit www.fatimaonline.org.
