Carvings from the Holy Land
Warfare in the Holy Land is very real, and Christians in the Holy Land have been the most negatively affected. In particular, the Catholic population has suffered harsh consequences, and a large number of families have fled their historic homeland. Approved by the Catholic Archbishop of Jerusalem, Mr. Jeyes Qumseya has arrived in the United States to market hand carved religious articles from 600 Christian artisans living in Bethlehem. He will be here at St. John's this weekend, July 21/22, to sell these items in St. Paul Plaza.
