Please use the "Marathon Envelope" in your packet of church offering envelopes and place your contribution in the weekend Mass collection, or call the School Office to make a donation at (651) 633-1522, ext. 1118.

WE ARE ALSO A UNITED WAY DESIGNEE,  and we would appreciate your consideration of St. John the Baptist School as a recipient. Thank you for your support of Catholic education and St. John's community of faith. Our goal is to raise at least $60,000.

JOIN DOROTHY, TOTO, the Wicked Witch, Munchkins, and all the characters from "OZ!" when the Drama Club of St. John's School presents this timeless children's classic. Performances are at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, October 12, and 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 13, in the School Gym. Tickets are only $5 in advance or $6 at the door.

More than 60 students are involved in the cast, orchestra, and crew, including sound and lighting. St. John's School parent, Mary Skubal, is back as director. Assisting her in the Drama Club's third play to date are Michael Mangan, St. John's music teacher, and Jeremy Berger, St. John's art teacher. The play is in full costume! THEOLOGY OF THE BODY with Christopher West is for all teens and adults, November 9/10, interested in learning about  Pope John Paul's profoundly beautiful vision of human embodiment and erotic love. A profound interconnection between sex and the Christian mystery, John Paul's theology paves the way for lasting renewal of marriage and the family, and enables everyone to rediscover "the meaning of the whole of existence, the meaning of life."  Visit www.stjohnnb.com  and click on Theology of the Body Conference on the homepage, or call (612) 616-4013.
