Communal Penance

The final Sundays before Christmas and Easter (4th Sunday of Advent and Palm Sunday), the parish of St. John the Baptist holds a communal penance service with individual confessions. These services include readings, a homily, examination of conscience, act of contrition, and individual confession with numerous guest priests. These communal penance services last one hour.
