Befriender Ministry
Description: The role of a Befriender is to be a companion on the journey, through listening, presence, and compassion.
Befrienders are companions to parishioners in times of transition, stress, illness and loss.

Growing Through Loss
Description:  Growing Through Loss is a grief ministry program, which is held twice a year at various churches int he area. The meetings have a speaker on a specific grief topic and break into small groups for discussion.  Come for one class or the whole series. Contact:  Susan Amos Palmer

Hospital Eucharistic Ministers
Bring Eucharist to Catholic patients at Unity and St. John's Hospitals in St. Paul once a month.

Nursing Home Ministry
Description: Provide weekly (Flexible schedule!) Word/ communion services to Catholic residents in local healthcare centers. Contact: Mary Hartz  (651) 633-8333 ext. 1229

Prayer Letter
Over 175 Prayer Ministers call on the power of Community Prayer for unity, peace and special intentions.  Join them from home.

Prayer Line

ABLE (Assisting Better Lives for Elders)
Description:  St. John the Baptist is proud to partner with and refer our members to Benedictine Health Center at Innsbruck, a fellow trusted resource for community elders and their families.  Together we are dedicated to providing a wealth of life care management services to help our beloved parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles live independently.
